
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Sicily, Cettina started learning piano aged six and obtained her piano diploma in 2007, passing with top marks and summa cum laude at her hometown Conservatoire “V. Bellini”.
Winner of several piano competitions, both national and international, she honed her skills further studying with renowned musicians such as M. Marvulli, A. Delle Vigne, P. Gililov, S. Gadjiev, E. Pace, P. Rattalino, R. Risalti, P. N. Masi, B. Canino, G. Luisi, etc. After obtaining her Interpretation and Composition Piano Master with top marks and summa cum laude in the Institute of Superior Music Study ”G. B. Pergolesi” of Ancona, under the surveillance and advice of M° Lorenzo Di Bella, in 2012 she obtained also the Piano Master in the prestigious S. Cecilia Music Academy in Rome as a student of M°° Sergio Perticaroli and Stefano Fiuzzi.
She has performed in several piano concertos and recitals across Europe and USA, e. g. Steinway Hall (New York), Wiener Saal (Salzburg), Parco della Musica (Rome), Orsanmichele Church (Florence), Sala Puccini and Gaber Auditorium (Milan), Crescent Arts Centre (Belfast), St. James's Church (London) etc. - see Youtube Gallery.
Teaching is also very important in Cettina's experience. Having worked both as a music teacher in secondary schools and as a piano tutor for several years, she has a Post Graduate Certificate in Performance Teaching from Guildhall School and runs very successfully her own education business 'Hampstead piano lessons' in London.
